Strut Brace on the way...is it DIY?
My strut brace is due in any day, is it something I can install? Appears that you just remove the bolts and bolt on the strut brace. I have not received it yet, so no instructions to read. Just wondering if I should plan on doing it or have my mechanic do it.

this is an easy DIY, yes just remove the required nuts from strut mount and install brace. It would be best to have a torque wrench wrench to properly tighten the nuts back down. Don't recall the torque rating for these nuts, but some thing like 15 ft/lb seems to come to mind. Any self rightous DIY'er should have a copy of the "little specification book" available no doubt from PP as a good resource for these bits of info. (torque and such)

I had a feeling that was all it was for the strut brace, but was not sure if loosening the bolts would makes something come apart while they were off. If I can, I will do one bolt at a time.

It is a fairly simple task for a DIYer. You don't mention which model you purchased. However, the only caveat -when undoing bolts, you must be careful not to undo the bolt that adjust the wheel camber; otherwise it will be time for an alignment.
