On to my next project...
Shhh - don't tell anyone it's a BMW color! Hellrot - with a name like that, how could I resist? I'm told it means "bright red"

Thom,
Are you gonna paint it yourself? I am just about done painting my 85 coupe and cant wait to get it done. (will post pictures soon I hope) It seems to just keep dragging on...... You got to be one of the most ambitious guys I know with all your projects. Since you have the cab now you only have to pull one piece of glass, thats a bonus. I am sure that gallon of paint (if its one to one ratio) will be plenty. I used about 3/4 of a gallon on mine and I have a roof. Good luck and look forward to waching this project. Joe |
Yes, I'm going to paint it myself. I've painted a few cars already: my '56 sunroof kombi, 1955 Westfalia (1st place TypeII class '99 Bug-O-Rama). 1960 panel (2nd, same show), a friend's 1966 KG 'vert (2 firsts and a 2nd), a friend's 1959 sunroof bug (no shows yet)
