Wiring diagram question

There is a yellow wire coming off the steering column switch. (Wiper/washer)

What does this symbol that’s circled mean?
Does it get connected somewhere?
Did it get connected to an optional switch?
Does it connect to the other yellow wire?

Thank you...

It is my understanding that on US cars it is not connected. It has something to do with flashing the headlights when they are turned off on Euro models.

Thank you for the responses. I have one diagram that shows it’s connected to the other yellow wire. I just don’t see how in the. At.
The reason I thought maybe it was optional. Was of you look at the first picture below you will see horns. Then the second picture is the right side and nothing. I’d assume you could have horns on both sides. And that the left and right wiring harness in the front seem to be interchangeable.

it could be that the horns are on the other side for right hand drive cars.
its probably easier/cheaper to make ONE wiring harness for US and ROW cars than it is to have 2 different harnesses.
