Correct offset for turbo flares

Help guys. I'm about ready to close a deal on the set of wheels I have been searching for a while, wanted a certain look. These wheels are 11" in the rearwide and I can have them in 40 and 52 offset and 8.5 fronts with 45 offset. Is this close to correct, and if not can I make up any difference with spacers". Thanks for the help...

My 11" wheels are -8 ET = yes negative.

My fronts are 17 ET -

both fit without spacers = - I have SC suspension - and turbo flares

So what's the relation of ET to MM? Because your numbers are way smaller than the ET's of these wheels. Just want to make sure these things fit when I buy them.

ET is shorthand for offset (from the german word I believe) the number is millimeters

If the wheels you are looking at are higher (ie et45 or 55) they are probably for a later Porsche (964,993 etc), you may be able to make up the difference with spacers, if thats something you dont mind doing.

For the rear you would need basically 1.9" spacers -

For the front - you would need 1.2" spacers

Hey, thank you. I did some reading on it today, and I understand the measurements now, but wasn't sure what to do, lol...

Hey, thank you. I did some reading on it today, and I understand the measurements now, but wasn't sure what to do, lol... I believe these wheels are for later cars, I love the style of some of the later wheels and was just trying to find the right ones. These are it, but just didn't want to pull the trigger on a 1500.00 purchase and make a mistake. Thanks guys.
