Barn(s) Find(s) ID #'s

Due to the volume of requests in offering assistance in determining what it is I have (or at least am supposed to have, from VIN/ID #'s) I'm listing the numbers as I have found them to date. I started a new thread (my old one for those new to the thread is simply - Barn(s) Finds(s) Treasure or Trash?) to help "cut to the chase" without having others or myself, stroll through the thread where I posted what it is that has found its way into my storage facility and life! Any and ALL feedback is appreciated, thank you!! Here goes;

CAR VIN#'s Paint Codes

119210483 - 911 Targa 6828-L
11870138 - 911 Targa Missing
350409 - 1965 912 Coupe 6404
12870547 - 1968 912 Targa 97-6805-L
129022543 - 1969 912 Coupe 6801

Porsche Engine #'s Transmission #'s

*741078* 103729 / 901.301.101.OR / 901.301.301.OR
KD*P*706944 5091091 /901.301.101.2R / 901.301.301.OR

Rundown of the 912/356 engines and the chassis they go to:

741078
1965 912
Karmann 450001 454470
Porsche 350001 351970

706944
1963 356 T6 B
coupe Reutter 123043 125246
coupe Karmann 212172 214400
cabriolet Reutter 157769 158700

745505
1966 912
Karmann 454470 458100
Porsche 351971 353000

1282838
1968 912
coupe Porsche 12820001 12820427
coupe Karmann 12800001 12805598
targa Porsche 12870001 12871217

1280637
1968 912
coupe Porsche 12820001 12820427
coupe Karmann 12800001 12805598
targa Porsche 12870001 12871217

4095177
1969 912
targa Porsche 129010001 129010801
coupe Karmann 129020001 129023450
coupe Porsche 129000001 129000428

The engine 741078 is likely the correct engine for 350409.
The engine 1282838 is likely the correct engine 12870547 but also correct for coupe around 12803100.
The engine 4095177 may be the correct engine for 129022543, but one closer to 4096xxx would be a more certain match.
The engine 1280637 is correct for a car around 12870150 (Targa) or 12800650 (coupe)
The engine 745505 is correct for a car around 352600 (Porsche) or 455400 (Karmann)
This all based on tables from 912VIN.com and the 356A.com

John, Thank you very much! It appears as though I may actually have the correct engines for the 912's at least. Good news! Any way to match up the transmission #'s?

Post the numbers and I can see if the fall into the range for cars with close VINs.

Did some research.
12870547 should be in range of 1282600 (5 speed) or above 1081020 (4 speed).

129022543 should be in the range of 5192700 (5 speed) or 5091400 (4 speed).

There is much less info on 350409. But the range would be under 223885 (5 speed) or under 160306 (4 speed).

These should get you close. A C of A or Kardex could verify things.

I think that these groups may match:
_12870547__1282838__1081923
129022543__4095177__5091091
but the rest I do not think belong.
engine 741078 seems much too late for 350409
trans 103729 is a 67 911 5 speed
trans 7103501 is a 70 911 5 speed
