Engine tin piece
I don't recall where this piece of engine tin fits in the puzzle. I took it off to paint it and can't figure it out.
Any insight is appreciated! Note: That is not my girlie finger....

No help? I removed it from my engine and the car is fairly original.
I believe that it came off the passenger side near the base of the fan housing. but I can't seem to find the correct spot.

Between oil cooler and head, it was riveted to shroud.

Thanks! I will reattach it before I put the engine back in.
Do you know if it was mounted left-right or front-back? From your description I believe that it was mounted left-right.
