Find out where and how the car was stored/garaged, and check for rust.
That sounds very low for a car with just over 70k miles!
A PPI would help ease your mind.

No way! Something is very wrong. Nice 70k mile G50 Carreras for 9k don't exist......unless it needs a serious valve job. Get a PPI

I see these Auto trader and Buy Sell scams here in Vancouver all the time..my favourite was the 1969 Camaro being sold in Yukon Territories for under $10,000 and the picture of the car had palm trees in the back ground. Polar bears maybe, but not palm trees. They always seem to pick some obscure amount of money for the price too..why $8740 and not $8700 or $8750? If you call they will undoubtedly want you to send them money up front...

I use to live in sask, in my experience you couldnt buy a car like that for even double the price. Rare there, but its worth following up. Keep us posted.

Tell them you are buying the car but they need to send you money for a flight to get it and that you will be driving it back.

If you call and actually get through you will undoubtedly be speaking with a benevolent Nigerian prince that is stuck in Saskachewan and requires a small monetary deposit sent to him to be able to liberate this fine automobile from the clutches of his evil, oppressive government ...he only needs your bank account number..

Call them and go look at it. It might be wrongly quoted.

Showing my incredible ignorance here.....as per usual, but what is the game of this "scammer"? Is it simply mischief? Or is there some unfathomable way that they get money off you? If this were a real ad, I would own my second 911 inn a flash. Cheers

Go ahead and answer the ad, and you will find out. There's no harm, and your computer won't become infected. They'll probably just give you some story about how he's currently overseas and the vehicle is being stored in a garage somewhere (not in BC, guaranteed). And that he needs money to do something with the title or needs an advance for any possible shipping, or some total bullschitt story.

I came across something like this a couple of years ago when someone was trying to list a Land Rover Defender for around $12.5 K on Auto Trader. I couldn't respond fast enough, I thought I'd found The Deal of a Lifetime. Then, "The Scam" was on....and I was outta there.

I saw this car in April or May. This is what I received when I contacted them:

Hi,
First of all I want to thank you for your interest in my car:1988 Porsche 911 Coupe Carrera Fully Loaded .The car is still available,I sell it at this price because i just finished the divorce with my husband. When the divorce has finished i own this car,the problem is that I had to move in United States to start a new life here. Now as a women i don't need it. This car is in excellent working conditions, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions,ONLY 114.000 km, is always garaged and rarely used, is registered in Canada and it has clear title .From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request ONLY secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay Motors Shipping Company services so both of us can be protected. The final price that I want for this car is $9,300 CAD( including shipping and handling).
I will wait your answer(if you are interested to buy) very soon!
Thank you
Jenifer Thompson

This is obviously a scam.
It's a real shame human beings do things like this

A Nigerian named Jenifer Thompson?

The grammar and mis-spelled words are a dead giveaway....
