What did this wire plug go to - 78 911 SC Targa

I was cleaning up the engine compartment straightening up wires and re-connecting some bad ones when I found this plug with several wires going to it. They are on the drivers side of the engine.

I have some wiring diagrams and have looked at them but can't seem to identify what it went to.

Any help to identify this would be appreciated.

O2 sensor?

Those don't look like stock wires to me. I think you are going to have to start digging to find the other end of those.

No O2 on a '78.

It could have went to the O2 Sensor. The car does not have one or a Catalytic converter. I'll check the wiring diagrams.

Not stock. Find the other end as Kerthunk suggests.
