rms question
i haave a few oil leaks. car is a 73 911e. the one leak , leaks right where the tranny and engine meet. but will only leak if the motor is running. my question is, if the rms is leaking, will it only leak when the car is running?? i have checked the triangle of death and nothing up top. my only other guess would be the mfi pump. also do the engine cases leak? i sure they do, but is it a common problem? im sure the only way to seal it would be seperate them and reseal??

Yes to RMS leaking only when engine runs. Same for MFI pump. Same for transmission input shaft seal. If you are lucky, it's a leak on the back of the pump. if you are very unlucky, it's the transmission. Engine or tranny leaks require pulling and separating the two. RMS is an easy fix if it's the culprit.
