AutoX Restraints

Hi all,

I have been going to the local PCA Chapter AutoX events and found them to my liking. However, at the end of each day, my left leg is very tired from trying to keep myself in my seat.

I was at a speed shop and they are recommending a Schroth Rallye 4 harness. It has the advantage of being compatible with my car and partially removable without undoing the seatbelt bolts (except for the inital install). BTW, my '73 911 has been upgraded to later seats.

Question: Has anyone used this system?
Are there others that are better?

TIA.

Never have used them. but just by looking at some of the pictures it looks like they would keep you back in the seat but still move you toward the outside, because the point of secureness is not directly behind you. If I am looking at it right it looks like they attach both harness to where the upper strap goes. IMHO it would do a "ok" job but if your serious about the racing maybe go to a 4/5 point harness that attaches straight back using a harness bar.

Again just my opinion.
