You don't need to go to any others!
This is the best BBS you will find on the 911. Cheers, Tim. ____________ 1983 SC Targa |

Stick with this one - I've looked for ages and the others I have seen are almost static in comparison. Most of the tips and comments apply equally well here and there is an increasing UK contingent.

Where do the UK guys post their things for sale?
Most of the things for sale on this BBS is American based. |

Sorry - I don't sell I just buy - that's why my girlfriend calls me a hoarder!
Try Porsche Post (the PCGB publication), 911 and Porsche World (though I'm currently boycotting this - see thread), and / or let us know here (wayne may move it but that's life!)

There is one worth monitoring for the 3.2 Carrera;
Go to www.titanic.co.uk/32Carrera/32carreramailinglist.html The titanic site has a link for Porsche enthusiasts with some useful general info for the UK.

Don't even bother looking elsewhere. I've posted 'wanted' ads for parts here, and got replies from all over the world.
Delivery times for parts from Pelican are fantastic (a week for a speedo cable - same part took several weeks from UK). This current thread mentions the disadvantages of import duty - I manage to escape this in CI though - helps me pay my ridiculous mortgage ![]() Pete |
