Anybody have experience with installing Corbeau race shells in air cooled 911?

I.e., will their side brackets work with factory sliders or do I need to purchase their sliders? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.

Which Corbeau seats and which car?

In my 86 using Corbeau brackets and sliders put my head close to the roof.

I was much happier using the side brackets and attaching them directly to the floor mounts.

+1
I'm using sidemounts with a Cobra but same deal. I needed the extra room to give adequate helmet room. It isn't adjustable but the only other person driving the car is the wife and she has seat inserts.

Thanks for the replys. I've been negligent in getting back on this thread. I'm looking to install a pair of FX Pros with side mounts in my 88 Carerra for DE use. So the question is what did you mount the side mounts to; factory sliders or directly to the floor?
