911 sc auto heater levers
Hi there, please can someone help? I have a RHD (I'm in England) 1978 SC.
I recently bought 2 new red heater lever knobs. There was one already there but my owners manual showed two. The first one fitted fine when I tried to fit the other it wouldn't go one. The lever is shorter than the other one and thicker at the end. I read on this forum somewhere that the shorter one should be connected to the longer one by a small nut and bolt - the holes are there to do this? It all seems to work fine. Thank you in advance Stuart ![]()

Your OK The manual system got 2 red knobs but the automatic systems has only 1 as the other lever which is shorter, connected to the long as you have found out. You now have a spare knob Your configuration is the top one;
