Lightbulb Phoenix Sedona Run and Lunch......

Trying to get together with LeeH and set up a time we can all go on a Saturday run up to Sedona. Maybe leave around 10am, drive up I-17 to get that out of the way, have lunch at the Hideaway (nice view --great prices) then head back the long way thru Cottonwood Jerome Prescott) Please drop me a PM with the dates in June you are available also your email address so we stop taking all the bandwidth. Would like to do it on Saturdays so we recover from it on Sunday. Will take a poll of best dates and go with the flow. Bring the wives dogs girlfriends or whoever else wants to go. Should be back before 5pm unless Lee H is leading then maybe around 8pm lol ( Sorry LeeH ) Please try to bump this to the top for at least a few days so we can get everyone involved into a private member message list.

Richard,

OOPS!

I was mistaken when I said my wife was off on Saturdays... it's Sundays in June. Guess I won't be slowing the group down afterall!

Change of subject: Something I've been wanting to do... shifter cart school (or any other school for that matter) at Bondurants.

They're just down the street from me!

Anyone?

Lee

My wife got me the Bondurant Lap The Oval at PIR 2 yrs ago and had a blast. Want to do more but now have my P-car to play with. I'm still interested in it though so keep me in the loop.

Just replaced my left axle CV boots and really should not drive too much till I do the right side. The next 2 weeks for me are stacked but would love to do the drive Richard suggested. Keep in mind I have no a/c so that may present a challenge in the hotter months. We'll see.

Tortilla Flats is a short fun drive, too.

RJ,

Let me know whatever you guys decide and when. Do not mind taking up a bit of bandwidth as there are guys from the Phoenix area who we are not in contact with, so the more that see this, the bigger a group we end up with.

Lee, have raced carts for years and they are a blast. Would do that again anytime. Not interested in Bondurant unless its a road course. Idiots can be taught to drive in a circle, real race drivers turn right and left... IMHO. Had enough of NASCAR....

I raced carts when I went to Colorado for training once. Had a great time. They where not shifter carts but I would do it again! If you can hook something up I am in and so is the wife!

I'm out of town June 8-10. Should be available any other time. Keep in mind that if no other wives are going, I probably won't make it. Since its just my wife and I at home, we tend to spend the weekends doing things together since we don't see much of each other all week. While she loves my P-car, she probably won't have much fun if its just a bunch of us gear heads going. So lets bring the ladies. Besides, my wife is the one that is always saying faster, faster, faster....
