Mystery box w/ switch
Does anybody have an idea what this is? At one time the PO had it mounted beneath the AC controls. It is connected (to what I do nopt know!) via a fat wad of wires with electrical tape. I am curious what it might be before I attempt to remove it. I assume it is an alarm or radar detector. Any thoughts on what I might break by simply cutting the wires one at a time?
Thanks for your help! Tim ![]() |

If there are model or reference numbers you can load them into google and you might find out.
Given the on off switch I am thinking radar. |

Sure looks like alarm or radar detector remote...

How about tracing the wires to see where they go before you cut them? Compare what you find to wiring diagrams. If it's a radar detector no big deal. If it's an alarm of some sort you could end up dead in the water.
