Buy them, sell them

Paul,
It looks nice, but a few more pictures (in the SUNLIGHT) would have been great, don't you agree? If someone was trying to sell a car like that, you'd think they'd put in a little more effort. I know that no BS is better than too much BS, but even a little won't hurt and it would surely get the buyers fired up. If it were me, I'd be aiming to be somewhere between that ad and the usual Californiaclassix ads! I'm sure there's a happy medium somewhere.

The ad says factory A/C, but the pics at their web site shows a 2.4 MFI engine without A/C!
The 'INFO' button gets you to a form to be used by people wishing to buy a car from them ... you MIGHT get more info, ultimately ... but it certainly isn't a data page for the car! Looks like a better car than the $24K joke at California Classix!

They've got more pictures on the web site (www.born2bfast.com), but no more information, and the perspective on the photos is distorted. They're price list is at the bottom of their Cars page, and they're kind of steep.

Check out the other cars they list on the website. There's a Gemini blue 73S for 29K. Take a look at the engine compartment. I'd want a whole lot better looking engine for those dollars.
Also, maybe it's just the photo but the shift assembly sure looks like a 72, not a 73....

Heads up warning on this one guys. Got an e mail from somebody who should know...somebody I trust. This particular car is running a new front clip...from the shock towers forward. Sorry 'bout that...auction has ended...high bid $17K, reserve not met. Hmmmm..

Well, it's strange that an S Targa goes for $34k (or whatever it was) and this coupe gets to $17! More proof, I fear, that the other one was Mr Californiaclassix bidding against himself....
