I Just Increased My Gas Mileage

Yup, just increased the gas mileage on my '84 Carrera by 2.5 mpg and all I did was change the plug wires. (Bosch)
My mileage now is just a hair over 28 mpg. (28.3 mpg to be exact .)

This mileage is not while driving conservatively, I drive as the mood hits me.

i did it with spark plugs in my truck. i was always putting in those bosch platinums, then one day i decided to try something else, think it was a ac delco or something like that. the truck ran better and the gas mileage went up.

Seriously, what a waste of money when the Tornado fuel saver is available.

Wow that's pretty high, around 500 miles per tank??? - I'll admit I don't watch mine that closely, but over my miles I seem to get a little more than 400 miles out of a tank (takes about 18 gallons to fill mine up when I stop close to empty) , which works out to just under 25mpg (highway).

(hmmm = 14000 gallons, yikes I've paid more for gas than I did for my car!)

Hmmm. I got a little better than 25 mpg in 2400 miles bringing my 86 to it's new home from the left coast. New NGKs are sitting on the shelf. My plug wires look original. Guess I may replace them sooner rather than late.

They get good mileage but don't forget about Speedo error. At 85 it is probably off 10mph.

I recently had my speedo calibrated at No. Hollywood Speedo and Clock Repair here in southern CA. So my speedo error, if any, is minimal.
