turbo valve covers
hi guys, recieved a pair of turbo valve covers today,but on inspection found one to be different thickness to the other by about an eighth inch,are noticed one stamped 85,other 86,does thickness of these covers vary from year to year,if so i believe i have two odd covers and not a pair,any coments or suggestions,would help,thanks.

Maybe one was warped and someone machined it down to make it straight.?

valve covers
that could be the case,but the facing web,the side that mates to the towers,is the same thickness's the other,the person i am dealing with,is as surprised as i am as i didn't realize there was a difference in covers from one year to another,i guess you cant mix and match,they have to be a pair.he wants me to return them.he is very honest and will refund my cost including shipping cost,so no sweat.I'm still in the market for a set of valve covers,i find it very refreshing to deal with a person with this kind of integrity,having read some of the horror story's on the forum,thanks chris for your much appreciated input,best,frank.
