E-Brake adjustment
My e-brake works, but only holds the car at the top of it's pull. I would like to adjust it to hold a few clicks from the top. Is there an adjustment on the cable to tighten the pull or do I need to go into the rear brakes to turn the cogs ? Thanks in advance for any insights !! I will look at Wayne's book tonight to see if that helps.

You need to adjust the shoes at the rear.
When the handle is lifted the brakes should drag at about 3 clicks up and be fully engaged at 5 clicks. It is a little challenging to locate the star wheel through the hole in the rear brake. Good luck with your adjustment. Cooper |

Wayne's book has the whole adjustment procedure as does the host website tech info section. the cables can be adjusted to take up excess slack and make it pull tighter, but it is a blunt tool and a proper adjustment also uses the star adjuster (cog).

+ 1. Bentley also show it. It maybe be hard to visualize how the star adjuster work but it you take the drum off and look (and play with it) it will help.
