Creating a sticky for a wish list for new manufactured parts?
It would be good both for owners and suppliers to have a permanent sticky of parts that we would like someone to produce. As our cars age, bits are starting to fail that are no longer produced. Suppliers could asses interest to determine if its viable from this post.
Just a thought........... |

Of coursen nothing beats a factory part. You should check here to see if they are already offering it: New Editions - Classic Genuine Parts & Literature - Porsche Classic - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG

I doubt that anyone has a better idea of what people want vs. what is NLA than Wayne. Maybe there is a way to have the Pelican site record hits on the NLA parts listed.

The second factor is what people are willing to pay, it makes no sense if the dollars to produce don't intersect with the dollars people are willing to fork out.

Parts
It would be good though to have a streamlined method of assessment for manufactures, including small 1 person operations and for Pelicanites.
There are so many items that aren't been produced anymore. I am watching 901's head down the same 356 path. They are increasing in value and therefore making it viable to restore. And for the early cars, bits are starting to fail.... |

So can we order these parts here through PP or directly from a dealership?
New Editions - Classic Genuine Parts & Literature - Porsche Classic - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG excited about black/white sunvisors for $140. But not excited that they only offer one mirror for 70-77?
