Shift coupler (rear), between the rear seats...does this require lubrication?
Did a search, and found nothing on coupler recommended "lub", if required............
Between the rear seats, under the plastic housing, I see one white plastic bushing, which I can slide laterally left to right (can slide it out completely if necessary. It's also in good shape). Should this require grease or lubrication? (It's under the boot). 69 911 "Little Bull" |
A little white grease can't hurt inside the bushings...

Thanks Wayne. I had the car out "on the oval" (neighborhood oval) today. Tried to watch (glance back) to see if the bushing moved back and forth on the sleeve. I tried to compare the difference in the various positions on the sleeve. I put "white grease" on there as you suggested, car shifted well. Not sure if the bushiing on the sleeve is suppose to favor the right (driver's side), or is it constantly suppose to slide?
