Retro Gauge Faces
The latest issue of Excellence has an article on changing the gauge faces on an 88 Carrera. They came up with a great looking 550-like retro design for all the gauges. Palo Alto Speedo turned the design to reality. While the gauges look great, I think they look out of place on the plush interior of an '88. What do you think? (sorry, the photos are not good). -- Curt

I like 'em, but I'd really be excited if you could get them with green numbers like the pre-'68 cars.

Pretty ODD LOOKING, that mixture of stock and 'retro' gauges! Doesn't have a good feeling to them at all ... in a Carrera 3.2!

It is a little weird mixture. Retro is cool in a Retro car. They do looka a little out of place.

The guy did is *own* thing, and apparently spent quite a bit to do it. I hear his next project is to take the "retro" conversion of his Carrera a bit further.....by taking out the 3.2 and putting in a motor from a 356.
