Help for older Blaupunkt radios
All:
I have a Blaupunkt Cheyenne CM42 (mid 80's?) I purchased from a fellow Pelican, and somehow I lost the manual and more importantly the radio code. Tried internet venues including Blaupunkt USA, to no avail. Web sites wanted bucks to provide radio code with no guarantee they would work, and manuals were pretty much non existant. Thought I was dead in the water as far as the radio was concerned. I got a contact name and phone number from Bosch in Chicago. Gentleman is named Bryan, who is an archivist for Bosch. He said no problem with manual or radio code. He E-mailed pdf of manual as well as correct radio code.....FREE! Radio is working again thanks to him. Contact info: 708-865-5388. E-mail: Bryan Osiecki@us.bosch.com. Hope this helps some people with older radios. |

You wouldnt believe the trouble we had trying to find out the code for a audi A4 . Couldnt get any dealers to help. finally found a phone number on a u-tube comment for an audi customer service line that hooked us up no problem. We wrote it all over the damn car! But like you say these things are just a matter of getting in touch with the right people.
