Decipher two VINs please

I haven't unpacked my stuff yet from my move, so I don't have my books :(

Can someone decipher these two VINs for me

9111120829
9113101922

What are these cars valued at (approx) They are both complete, however in what I would describe as pretty rough condition.

The second one is running and on the road, it has some rust and some rust has been fixed, The interior has sport seats I believe but in poor condition, like the remainder of the interior

The 1st just needs to be re-assembled and I think it is in running condition. Has air (factory???) This car is not completely original either.

I am just wondering years, types (T or E) motors they should have and approx values.

Thanks

Shawn

Re: Decipher two VINs please

According to Bruce Anderson's book,

911 1 1 2 0829
1971 T Coupe, Karman

911 3 1 0 1922
1973 T coupe

Not much help on values, really depends on condition.

Thanks everyone

Andrew Yes they are for sale, I met a guy here in Lethbridge who owns them. He wants WAY too much money for them in my opinion. And I mean WAY. I have basically described them above and he has the 71 Listed at $21, 000 Cdn. He just picked up the 73 and hasn't priced it or worked on it yet.

They are indeed project cars, worth maybe $5000- $6000 in my opinion (and that may be optimistic), I told him this but he feels he has more there than that.

Kinda left me in a weird position, he has a Love for Porsches as I do, but wouldn't listen to what I had to say about them????? I am not saying I am by any means an expert, far from it really. But I do know a fair bit

I told him about this site but he said he already basically knows all he needs to know, since he did a rebuild on the 71 engine. I hope he does check this site out.

And if you read this Brian, I hope you don't take too much offense to what I have written, just what I was thinking. And is only an opinion! I think it'll be fun to learn along with you on these cars!

Wow - That IS expensive!
From what you described I was thinking 4-5K CDN.
$21,000 seems like he doesn't really want to sell.
Hope he checks this site out - there is always something new to learn, regardless of previous experience.

Regards,
Andrew M
