capped exhaust

So today, I finally capped my exhaust. I am running a 1 in 2 out flow master, and while I love the sound, lets just say that my lady friend did not. That said, I do like the new sound, and it is certainly quitter. Just curious, does capping on 1 side have any negative effects on the motor. I know many have done it, but was wondering.

i will have to take some a little later. The tailpipe was actually flared so I had to fab something that slides inside and is capped. its removable so when I want to be loud I can be.

You will likely notice a change in your power band. More low end grunt but less top end, lower acceleration in your power band......some engines 'like' back pressure.

Understood The best part is is removable. Funny the x wife didn't like the sound either, but I didn't care back then. Thanks for the feedback

You might want to consider an electric cut out. Flip the switch and you have Road Warrior mode.
