1973 911 RS 3.2 conversion...

I really like this look. Thinking about something similar. Comments?

The conversion from an SC or a pre '73 as a starting point?

I was thinking of getting a pre-'73 to start with. Maybe keep my little SC stock and get my ya-yas out with an early car and a 3.6 transplant

What can I say, it's a disease. And I've wasted far more money in the past with far less satisfaction.

The lack of front turn signals looks a little funny!

No doubt two beautiful early cars. Wish mine looked that nice. I think the yellow car looks a bit staighter then the green one. I guess I would drive either.

The green one looks clean with no turn horn grills

Yellow one looks clean with no badges etc...

Both are beautiful. I'd give up various vital organs to own either one.

Are you from a "Werkstatt"?

I really like the green one for it's classic race look, but as a street car I'd pick the clean looking yellow one.

Question

How did tou create the dashboard treatment that covers the air controls and radio on the yellow car? My track car would benefit from a cleaner look.

I am working /building only my own cars and for some Friends.
It is a Hobby going out of Hands sometimes when something
strikes me like " It is Time to build another one ".10-12 Months
and ,in this case ,40 K later this is the result .
The Dashboard is a thin Aluminium covered with Leather .
Here is another one : 405 HP on the Dyno ,but 6-10 Mls/ gallon.
and a Gallon here is 4 US$

Hmm Borbet wheels on a 911.... I think I would prefer something else instead. Somehow they don't look that good on a 911.

If this is only a hobby for you I must say that I'm impressed

Speedster,

What kind of rear flare is that on the yellow 73' car? It doesn't look like a SC/Carrera flare.
