Can I tell if short-shift already installed?

Is there an easy way to figure out if my car already has a short-shift kit ? I only have a partial service history.

Yeah! If it shifts like an 18 wheeler (Long Throw) then it doesn't have a short shift kit.

Sorry I'm not much help. But if you know anyone with a 911 with a 915 that knows if they have a short shift or not, compare against it. There's a big difference with the short shift.

I drove a 79 a while back that didn't have the short shift kit. And it seemed like a had to move the lever twice as far.
