Side mirrors glass moving

On my 77 911S the glass part of my side mirrors is starting to vibrate/move which is annoying.

The mirror housing/fixture itself is tight and I have no problem with it.

How can I get rid of the vibrating glass issue without breaking anything?
I do not know the root cause of the problem.

Thank you in advance for you time and help

My drivers side mirror did the same thing just before it fell out as the glue did not hold after 33 years. Siliconed it back in and no more vibration issues.

+1....except I didn't get to mine fast enough, and it fell out and broke. The replacement glass is expensive, so I went to my local auto glass store cut one from a template for $15 and installed it with silicone.
