Question Windshield washer bottle

When I bought my 73 the windshield washer bottle was disconnected and sitting in the trunk. The pump was hanging off of it. How is this connected. I know about where it should go. How about the pump. Mounting details?
Thanks,
Scott S.

If it is like my 72 (assuming you also don't have factory air conditioning) the pump snaps right on to the extrusion on the side of the container. Then the container fits into the front of the luggage compartment on the driver's side. The filler neck on mine actually comes through the sheet metal that also contains the hood latch.

Thanks for your reply Kurt. Is there any kind of fastening system used to secure the bottle, or is it just the cap seal and tap at the base? Thanks again
