Cab top stopped working

I have a 98' 993 cabriolet 7,000 miles orig miles.

I hit the convertible top down button and nothing happens. It has worked well for the last 14 years. I don't hear any electrical engagement at all. I checked the fuse and did other preliminary inspections but no resolution. The emergency brake works fine, dash light on when engaged. I opened and closed the top manually by screwing the motors at the windshield thinking it may reset whatever switches, no resolution.

Any troubleshooting suggestions please respond.
