I Need Everyones Help!!!!! Please Read
This is my story, I have a 76 930 that is has a few motor mods(headers, 915, Garrett T4), but will be getting a ton more (cams, intercooler, head work, twin plugg, and efi). I sent some pics of my car into Sport Compact Car for there annual ultimate car shootout. They get thousands of entries for this shootout. They take those entries and narrow it down to 92, they put those 92 into the mag and the readers get to vote for there favorite 10. Those 10 get to got to the shootout. You get to race a road course, drag strip, dyno, etc all within 2 days (basically every mans dream). MY CAR MADE IT INTO THE TOP 92!!! So this is where i need everyones help, go out and buy the july issue of Sport Compact Car ($4.99) and vote for my car, #87. It has to be a ballot from the issue, no copies. Help a fellow Porsche show up all of the little ricers out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI: their is also a 951 from a guy on rennlist thats in that. I think his car has almost 500HP!!

sounds to me like a sneaky way to sell magazines. If you really want to get the most enjoyment out of your Porsche without going through the BS with the rice-a-roni gang, im sure your local Porsche club has events that you can get involved in and the people are much easier to relate to. Just a suggestion:D

I'll do it. Good luck!

I kinda thought it was a cheasy way to sell mags to, i think they do that so a guy can't just sit on line and vote all day for his car or photocopy a ballot. They do a very large article on the 10 cars in the shootout, i just think it would be really cool to have my car be in an article like that. What guy wouldn't?????????? Thanks to everyone that does help me out!!!

Why dont you buy 100 copies and send in the ballots...then give all the magazines to a Salvation Army store to give away...so you can get 28% back on your taxes. You'll only spend about 350 bucks that way and I bet you'll win.

LOL!!! I thought about that but wouldn't that be cheating?? (that and 350-500 goes a long way for stuff on the 930) :)
