Where is this hose supposed to connect??

Messing around tonight trying to figure out why my fresh air blower won't blow and stumbled across this disconnected hose. It was tucked up under the cowling kinda with with the windshield washer hoses. Is it part of that system? I traced the other end running along the front driver inner fender and then disappeared up near the battery. Couldn't for the life of me figure out what it's supposed to connect to.

Any guesses?

usually its brake fluid overflow that exits toward the battery coming off the trough around the resevoir cap. The thing that caught me is it looks to run up so its routed wrong if for the brake fluid overflow.

I thought that at first too but there is no place to connect on the brake fluid reservoir. I just placed it there to take the pic. It has an outer felt like casing with an inner plastic small diameter tube. Looks too small for the washer system.

Look on the side opposite the cap on the reservoir, Your nipple is broken off the reservoir, ( That is the plastic piece inside the end of the hose) , Run your brake fluid level near the low mark until you repair or replace,

Good luck,, Lou

Ah ha!, I think I see where it's supposed to connect and broke off. That would explain why I couldn't use a power bleeder to flush my fluid a few weeks ago.

Out of curiosity, wouldn't that overflow hole allow air/moisture in the system?
