Cool

Use the proper wrenches and counter-hold the brake lines where needed. Consider caliper rebuild, SS lines, while you are in there. Check rotors, bearings, etc. and have fun. Don't know about fuel lines.

surprisingly no,

I did my 912's front to rear fuel line...it was a PITA to feed through all the other stuff, but it worked.

I had to get stainless line from the hardware store becasue it was the only way I could get more than 60"...you need at least 72 to run front to back.

I did the fuel lines, when I had the engine out. Really pretty easy. Used the old ones as my fish tape. Being paient, and gentle they came right thru.

I just put in two AN -6 brained stainless steel lines into a 1970 chassis, needed a return line for the 3.2l (hehehe) and one I had pulled out the shifter, brake/heater ass. and opend up the ****er coupler cover it was pretty easy. however I did have the motor out at the time, so take that into consideration. everything is accessable with the motor and trani in.

If you are replaceing to restore you can't use AN-6, but if you are replacing to improve you can.
