Fog Light issue
Here's the story, my left (drivers side) fog light went out. I bought new bulbs from our sponsor and replaced the bad one. Started the car turned on the lights and fog light switch and no light. Took out the bible and seen that it could be fuse #1 checked and its good. At this point I am stumped. Can anyone help.
Thanks in advance Ernie |

Assuming you have cleaned the connector, did you verify ground from the brown wire at the bulb socket to ground point MPI? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1345921872.jpg |
Not yet but what stumps me is the right light works. It looks like they both grnd at the same point. With that I would think both would be out. I will check
Thanks Ernie |

Connectivity issues are the biggest problem with fog lights. Listen to 86 911 Targa and do what he says.
I have an 81. |
I've had this issue before, and I found one of the wires was burnt due to the extreme heat those fixtures emit. Gerry's suggestion is an excellent one, hopefully this will be the issue with yours.

Fuse Panel Connection.
Verify the connections (2) at the bottom this fuse.

86 911 Targa
Thanks to you and all, I found the issue, a broken wire behind the main fuse terminal. But now my issue is the car wont start. She normaly fires up on the first crank but for about the last week it takes a little more. I have no spark and have a very bad feeling that its the CDI box. I give up quite pissed and going to lay down. |
No Start.

Hello "86 911 Targa" - where did you get that electrical wiring diagram? I've just purchased an 84 euro-spec Targa and there's a problem with the fog light wiring. I won't get into the details (yet) but would definitely like to get my hands on the proper wiring diagrams.
Thanks! Carl |
