After buying my 77 911, I found that things are missing on it. In the front trunk towards the windshield, there is a compartment that opens up. It looks as though something belonged in there. The question is What? I believe it has something to do with the heater. It doesn't appear to ever have had A/C. The car also has a little windshield washer motor up front with tubing going out of it, yet I don't see anywhere on the car where sprayers protrudes out to spray the windows???
I'm wondering if someone may have pulled them out and sealed them up. if so Why? ![]() |

The "smugglers box" contains A/C parts if your car has A/C. If not, the box is empty.
My washer pump is located very near the front bumper and I think my sprayers are standard VW "crying frogs." If removed, they would leave holes in the cowl.
