Post steel lugnutz

Hi folks

I'm looking for steel lug nuts (tapped through) that i could use for my alloy wheels. I know that there are steel lugnuts which are blind.

Also are there any other car manufacturers
whose lug nuts i could use, maybe something i could purchase at the local junk yard or parts store?

As far as I know, the only cars besides Porsches that use those nuts are some old VW busses. Those nuts are cheaper, but they are also typically uncoated, so rust would be a problem if you don't have them plated. Non-rusting Porsche ones are available from Pelican, I suspect. And yes, they are not terribly cheap. Then again, they hold your wheels on at whatever speed you wish to drive.
