only there, and maybe no benefit

the typical port job usually robs power b/c the primates that do it think bigger is always better, and smoother is always better

if you are willing to spend $10,000 for pistons, cams, and carbs or an EFI setup then a quality engine builder may want to do a little port work also

more likely they will tell you to put a 3.2L in, or use 3.2L heads on a 3.0 - as those heads flow real well in stock form

you were given some names above - there may be someone in Seattle but Steve W./Gamroth is in PDX, so likely closest to you

Wow! Thank you all for the great advise. In your own way you have all saved me about 1400$. I'm glad this site exists with such a great group of enthusiasts.
I will formally introduce myself and provide pictures of my build... On the proper forum of course.

I know for a fact Steve Weiner does not want people to port 3.2 heads unless they have a flow bench to see results.
