SC and Carrera rear flares the same
Are the rear flares on an SC (78-83) the same as on a Carrera (84-89) the same? I believe they are but did something change for the G-50 era?
We need a right side flare to match the Carrera flare we have on the left. Thanks,

G50 doesn't use rear sway bars so there are no holes but don't think that effects the flair, they are the same.

The left side we have is pre G-50 as it has a hole.

SC and Carrera flares are the same so you need the right side with the hole.

Let me see if I can clarify here-
All flares are the same from 78-86, SC and Carrera However, the 87-89 Carrera flare is different. The shape is the same, but the torsion bar hole is different for the G50 cars. This is because the torsion bar sticks further out of the chassis, and the shape of the hole had to be different to be able to change torsion bars. So while the general shape is the same on all the 78-89 cars, the G50 cars have a different cutout area for the torsion bars. They will all fit each other but if you use a non-G50 flare on an 87-89, you won't be able to get the torsion bar out in the future. However they all "look" the same once the rocker cover is in place.

The 87 of the G50 era has a larger cutout for the rear torsion bars. The cover has 2 screws holding the cover in place where the earlier through 86 has a stud on the back of the plug to use a flat plate to hold in place. The access is part of the flair
