Bilstein Insert Question

I have a set of Bilstein inserts for Boge struts. part # F4-P36-0113-HO.
they came off an 85 carrera. i want to put them on my 87 carrera. the part # i see for the 87 is F4-P36-0115-HO.
from what i can tell the only difference is the cap nut on the 85 threads on the inside of the strut and the 87 on the outside.
Are there any other differences? should I insist on using these inserts or just move on? I tried calling bilstein but they could not really help too much but then again i didn't have the part #'s. I'll call again.

i spoke to bilstein and the gland nuts that i need are not in stock. they need to be ordered from germany and may take up to 6 months to get here.
does anyone have a set to sell? bilstein part # B4-B36-U252.
