Spark plugs for a 930/10 euro SC
I've searched every thread I can find here and on Rennlist, and cannot find a definitive answer on what plug to use in my euro SC. My head is spinning after all the information I've taken in about spark plugs...
1981, euro 930/10 motor, 9.8:1 CR. I have NGK BPR7ES in there now, and they are a light brown color after several thousand miles. Factory calls for Bosch W3, however those are no longer available. Not sure what the equivalent NGK is for that plug, but some seem to feel that it is too cold anyway. I'm eyeing NGK BPR8ES (one temp range cooler than the 7's) since I'll be tracking it, to protect against detonation. Any recommendations?

I own a 1981 ROW 911 SC too.
The factory manual specified spark plug is for a Bosch W4C1, which is what I use... They run fine in my car with the tropical weather we have here in Singapore.... I just ordered in some NGK equivalents which are B8ES, but have not had a chance to try them out yet. |

Thanks for the reply.
I think I'm going to order some of the NGK BPR8ES and a set of BPR7ES incase the 8's foul from being too cold.
