I need help... I've never done this before...
 

I'm going to try to paint a carrera tail and deck lid myself. The tail is OEM, but another color as is the deck lid.

I assume I have to sand it lightly, prime it, then spray it.

Any tips on spray application? Things to watch out for? I will be painting it Zinmetallic. ( Pewter metallic). Thanks.

I will be undergoing the same thing with a fiber hood shortly. Go to this link BBS. It is a wealth of painting info. There are so may variables from gun, to humidity, compressor, paint, primer, sanding and polishing it is mindblowing.
