Dealing with "70 fasty" on Porsche wheels
Just thought I would share a positive experience I had with a Porsche Fuchs wheel purchase,I recently was on vacation when I noticed on E-Bay there was an auction for some 8 x 16 Fuchs wheels being sold by 70 Fasty,he is a wheel guy in Tampa Florida,he advertises here on Pelican and on E-Bay,I told him I was interested in the wheels but because I was on vacation I couldn't close the deal until I returned to Florida,we agreed on doing a "buy it now" to close the auction and I would meet him today to close the deal,it turns out he is a "Al Reed protege" and is working out of his garage, the wheels had polished lips with painted centers and were exactly as advertised and stunning to look at,on top of that he was great to talk to and gave me some pointers on how to polish/refinish my 7's to match the wheels I just bought from him.If anyone is looking to purchase wheels or have their existing wheels refinished I highly recommend you give him a try,it's nice to deal with fair/honest people.
