Flat rate shop time...HELP......
Hi
Could somebody please give me some idea how many hours it should take to do the following work on an SC, 3.0L Re and re the engine and transmision. Completely disassemble the engine, clean and detail, change head studs and reassemble (no head work). Dissasemble the trans,(915) clean, reassemble What is the maximum time that it should take to do a real good job??? Thanks for the help Wayne

Yikes, this is like asking how much it will cost to redo the cabinets in my kitchen. You have no idea what my kitchen looks like, so it's hard to give a number.
Typically around $400-500 to R&R the engine and tranny. I'd say about 30 hours for the top-end work. "Dissasemble the trans,(915) clean, reassemble " this statement makes no sense. Do you want to rebuild it? -Wayne
