I finally got my new SC
Thank you everybody in this forum for the invaluable help. Last week I finally got a 83 SC (Euro) with 130k miles.
Here are a few pictures of it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/DSC00177_3.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/DSC00182_3.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/DSC00184_3.jpg |
Paco,
te felicito. El coche esta muy bonito, espero que lo disfrutes al maximo. Juan |
Congratulations. Looks like a tidy car.
Welcome to the finest car club in the world. Enjoy! |
What size cookie cutters are those? They look great, but you don't seem them too much on SC's or any cars with flares.
|
I agree with Bill: I think those cookie-cutters are going to be the next rare thing!
Como se dice "Nice ride!"? John |
Congrats!
An excellent choice in model. This is my unbiased opinion, of course. |
Paco,
The car looks great. IMO- if its a 911SC it should be guards red. Buena suerte.:D |
Congrats & thanks for sharing your pictures!! Have a great time with your new hot ride!!
|
Welcome to the SC world. I know you will love your car. They are a blast!! So how to you feel about world domination??
|
Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of P-Car ownership!
|
Congratulations on the nice, clean SC. I know you're going to enjoy your car as much as I do mine.

Thanks guys (and gals) for all the support.
I count on you all to answer the zillion questions that will come up in the next months ... or years. The "cookie cutters" are 15" with 195/65 front and 215/60 rear. I do not know if they were part of the standard equipment back in '83. I suppose they carried Fuchs at this time but this car was originally sold in Germany and I believe the standard equipment for each country was different. Anybody got any idea? From my conversation with the dealer (not the PO) I believe the rims might have been other colour than black in the past but I am not sure. Anyway they have the Porsche crest in the hub and the wheel locks look like 20 years old. My next move should be joining the SCWDP, am I correct? :D |
