Car kills at idle and can't start for few mins

Hi there,

I,ve got an interesing problem.
I've got a 1985 carrera 3.2. Lately, it would die occasionally at a junction while idling.... after warming up. Then it would crank up but the engine will not ignite for about 10mins. My mechanic found that during this period, there would be no spark from the lead coming from the ignition coil, but after a few mins, the spark would return??

He changed the DME relay and swapped a 2nd hand motronic ecu but the same thing happened. Anyone knows why??Help!!
