Just saw your other thread but figured I'd make my mark here. I'm in the Hammer, west mountain. I'm always up for a meet and greet. I used to partake more before I had kids, but still try to get out to the GTGs at Sherway once or twice a year, do the rennlist track days. The rennlist guys are probably 50% newer cars and 50% older, but they're (we're) without exception an awesome bunch of guys. Make sure you check out rennlist canada for the annual fall drive - it kicks off in Grimsby and ends in St. Catharines.

I'm up for a meet at the Meadowlands Starbucks. It's 5 minutes from my house. A 964 friend of mine is even closer, in new Ancaster. I'll let him know.

I did run into a guy a few years ago in the parking lot of the Ancaster Fortino's, driving a kiln-red 3.2 Carrera, if memory serves. He mentioned there were a few guys that got together every Sunday morning in Ancaster for a drive. I never did meet up with them, but if that sounds familiar to anyone, it'd be cool to include them.

I'm the 964 guy in question. My car is in bits and pieces as I pull the engine. So I can't show up with a 911, but will defo come by to have a gander and a chat.

Cheers,

Cliff

Ps: Here's what my heap looks like:

Sounds good! I think I read your 915 rebuild thread the other day, very inspiring.

I'm pulling the engine to sort out a clutch problem. Now it's turned into a "while you're in there" project. Found some leaks that need attention too. Won't get the beast back on the road until Spring.

I'm very curious to see how many of these I recognize from seeing drive around! I know there's a black 993 turbo I've seen at meadowlands a few times, though not recently. I also saw a signal yellow longhood at the plaza across from the post office at meadowlands. My twin is around Flamborough somewhere, too - a red longhood with a ducktail. Apparently he used to own the driving range on hwy 6. Oh, and there's a white SC or Carrera cabrio I've seen in west Ancaster, near the Wilson St. roundabout.

Good point! I've seen a red late 60's early 70's looked to be nicely restored 911 or 912 on golflinks rd. A triple black 80's cab and a recently meet a nice p-car guy driving a black 993 at the local tuesday show and shine. I think the white Carrera Cab you mentioned Christein, was the one sold out of Village Auto on Wilson a couple of seasons ago. I have seen it around too. Not sure how many of the above mentioned will see this thead though.
