note it says "rare", i think those would be the rare mahle 5 bolt wheels.
i think wayne had a sticky a while back offering a reward for one or more of those. but i could be wrong. doug

Hello
The gasburners where made to become the new 911 S rims. As Porsche decided they need 6" wide rims the Fuchs where easier to roll to that size then modifying the Mahle casts. The Mahles where used to homologize the 911 race cars on skinny 155 tires. The stock was then sold as option on 911 and 914/6 but the Fuchs style became the desired rim due the S" look. Mahle moved out from the rim biz leaving that to there BBS spinout. And they made rims for racing applications and didn´t had capasity or time to offer a Mahle rim for the new generation. ATS made it. Grüsse |
