It's out, now what?

The heart is out of the beast but now I cannot get the tranny off. I did not remove the clutch helper spring or arm, do they have to come off to separate the cases? Getting somewhere now. Maybe some pics tonigh.

yes, the arm needs to come off to allow the t/o fork to rotate enough the release the t/o bearing.

101 Has been my bible on this for weeks, but it does not to my knowledge explain why the fork and spring have to be removed, it just says to remove it. The book has saved me hours and hours or maybe shuld say dollars and dollars as I would not have even tried without it.
