Another eBay seller obviously on drugs...

What's up with this? Seller claims it's a turbo look car... It's a Carrera with spoilers.

And claims it's a "concourse champion."

Hmmm... what's that stuff under the driver's seat. And, looks like the engine sound pad is loose and there's either rust or adhesive along the edge of the sound pad.

And last but certainly least... Red mirrors, rockers and valences on a white car? "Looks... just like it left the factory." Did it leave the factor with the rear window rubber messed up like that. Somebody stop me!

Warning... mega big pictures.

Luv the license plate. It's always interesting what a small dongle will make a guy do to his car.

Porsche Crest Concours Notes

Well, I am surprised at you guys. . . how could you fail to notice the rare factory option, the "Red Parts from Other Car" option M5653? Much like the "Secretary Cars," when this car was homologated by FIA, the inspectors showed up half an hour early, so Porsche had to borrow parts from one of the other cars on the line. Also, how could you overlook the super-rare "Inverted Steering Wheel" option- evidently a few cars had their steering wheels installed 180 degrees out of position after a few too many Warsteiners at lunchtime! But this makes it as rare as that original stamp with the airplane upside down. And it makes it so much easier to correct violent oversteer- the steering correction is already applied! The "Becher" radio also doubles as a cup holder, as "Becher" is the German word for "Cup" not like "Carrera Cup" but "Coffee Cup."

Details of these and the other concours touches can be found on page 962 of Paul Frere's book.

I'm beginning to think a lot of the typos and grammatical errors in eBay item descriptions are deliberate. I'm shopping for a beater pick-up truck now and look on eBay every day. Some of these guys probably did not make it past the 6th grade. More likely, they salt their item description with enough Clinton-esque wiggle room to maintain some plausible deniability, should the buyer try to hold them to something. If someone owns a 911 and does not know how to spell Carrera (does not apply to SCWDP folks), then you really have to wonder if they also buy that recycled motor oil next to the gas station cash register to put in their car when the temp gauge starts to max out.

Maybe it's a real Turbo Look car, but it came with the ultra rare "delete turbo fenders and tail" option.

He he he.
Funny ad to say the least.
With ads like that I can now advertise my 3.2 as a

incredibly fast RUF 84 Carrera Cabriolet Edition. Meeting RS specs, it has no air conditioning, RUF's custom dual out 73 RS muffler (featuring RUF's patented welding technique), Carrera tail bla bla bla
Bidding starts at 30,000

What happened to the tweeter on the passenger door? Looks like it grew into a full size door speaker!

Whats the dash mat hiding?
