Pelican Parts Today's Engine Rebuild Teaser Pic...

I'm currently working on the parts diagrams listings. They will offer all parts used on the engine (long block + fan & sheet metal) from 1965-89, including all of the supercessions, and upgrade tips in the comments fields next to the parts listings...

Will my engine look that CLEAN if I buy your book? I don't believe that block has ever seen service... Maybe some hints on how to achieve and maintain an oil free engine bay?

Forget rebuilding the engine - I plan to buy this book to read for leisure. Love it!

Well, this is what your engine case needs to look like if you're going to have a clean, leak-free motor. Most people don't realize that the cleaning part is the key to a successful rebuild (well one of the parts). I only mention it in the book like 27 times.

This case is not very clean - the photos are deceiving. The inside of the case needs to still be scrubbed for many hours. Fortunately, the photos don't show that...

Wayne;
I believe that taking the time to take all of these beautify color pictures will definitely constitute an "Unfair Advantage" for your book.

Mark Donahue would be proud!
